Clarins’s extraordinary adventure began in Paris in 1954, when Jacques Courtin-Clarins had a vision for modern cosmetics that would enhance the beauty and well-being of all women.

He dreamed of a company that would listen to its customers and innovate constantly to reveal and share the power of plants. A company that would value social and environmental responsibility. Driven by these convictions, he founded Clarins, which became an exceptionally successful family business.

His sons, Christian and Olivier Courtin-Clarins, inherited these values. Under their leadership, Clarins has grown, becoming a major player in the global beauty market. For the past several years, their daughters have also worked by their sides and continue to rise together to new challenges.

The company is present in more than 150 countries with its brands Clarins and My Blend as well as its Spa business. It is the number one high-end beauty company in Europe*. Though 90% of its products are exported, Clarins continues to formulate and manufacture them at Clarins Laboratories in France.
